REFLECTION QUESTIONS:

1) Paul did not have any children of his own, but he often spoke about his spiritual children. What is the lesson for us?

2) What is a yoke? What things are you yoked to that you should not be? What things should you yoke yourself to?

3) Paul makes several comparisons, even to the extreme. Why? How does this worldview oppose modern thinking?

4) Most people see the Christian faith as restraining and restricting. It seems to be about rules and control. What is the truth revealed here against that thinking?

5) Paul calls on us to purify ourselves? How can we do that? What are our motivations?
