REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
1) Jesus told the Parable of the Ten Minas because he was near Jerusalem and the people thought the kingdom of God was going to appear at once.
a. How does the parable refute that notion?
b. Do people in general resent having to submit to a higher authority? Do you ever have such a resentment?        Jesus calls those that oppose the king enemies. Because they would not submit, they were to be killed in front of the king. How do you feel about this? What does that feeling reveal about you and your relationship with God?
c. There were three kinds of servants. What made the third servant wicked? Analyze their position.

2) Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday is so familiar to us. Imagine what Jesus must be thinking. Is he happy, sad, numb? Why did the Pharisees think His disciples should be rebuked? What does His refusal indicate?

3) Why was Jesus weeping and what was the nature of His tears? Jesus say, “If only…but now is hidden.” Does this seem fair? Examine your response to the judgment of God.
