REFLECTION QUESTIONS
1) Five times in this scripture there is a reference to prayer. Examine each circumstance.
2) Probably, most Christians believe that the faith of the person needing healing is most critical. It is important and can be demonstrated with many biblical accounts. Here, make a case that it is the prayer’s faith that is critical.
3) What is the role of the oil and anointing? Isn’t this just old fashion thinking?
4) Read the account of Elijah’s praying in 1 Kings 18:41-45. What do you learn from this?
5) What does James mean when he refers to wandering from the truth? How might someone bring them back and save them from death?
