REFLECTION QUESTIONS

  1. What is the purpose of man?
  2. A form of the word sing is used 4 times; then song, music twice, resound, clapping hands, harp twice, trumpet, and ram’s horn. Why is there so much emphasis on music?
  3. Salvation and righteousness are connected themes here. How so? What are the implications?
  4. How does Psalm 98 support Paul’s assertion in Romans 1:20 (NIV84) “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.”?
  5. Twice we are told to shout for joy and once that the mountains sing together for joy. Do you feel joyful in your worship? Do you sense a general feeling of joy in our congregation? Why is the element of joy emphasized?
